The Director of Library Resource Management and Assessment produces and maintains the library's budgets; coordinates fiscal activities with the university Office of Resource Management; and provides information about the library's finances, productivity, and staffing.
The Director of Library Resource Management and Assessment leads the Libraries' Assessment Team. This team helps generate and distribute evaluative information on library programs and services. The library is a member of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) and reports statistics annually to this organization and well as to the American Library Association, the Oregon State Library and other organizations. Additionally, information is provided on an ad hoc basis to library decision makers, the university, Oregon University System offices, and other agencies. Library Facilities includes coordinating building services; shipping and mail room services; ergonomic assessment; and surplus equipment management. The Library Facilities Manager is Judi Byrum, judib@uoregon.edu.
Library Payroll and Personnel Services coordinates student employment in the library, processes payroll documents, and provides personnel support services for library managers and supervisors. The Library Payroll and Personnel Services manager is Barbara Butler, bsb@uoregon.edu.
Library Purchasing includes supplies and equipment purchasing and contracting; accounts payable; and non-student billing and accounts receivable. The Library Purchasing Manager is Manuel Balesteri.
