Requesting Delivery of Library Materials


 


 

Paging/delivery of UO books to UO Libraries

To have a book transferred to a more convenient UO library, or from storage, click the button in the online catalog.

  • This service is also for sending materials between the Eugene campus libraries and the OIMB or Portland Architecture libraries for UO students, faculty, and staff.
  • Library-use only materials and restricted materials such as videos and course reserves may not be requested for delivery.
  • Tip: to avoid entering your name and ID with each request, search the catalog from your Library Account.
  • Oregon Card holders, Alumni Association members, on-site visitors, etc.: Only books in storage locations may be requested; ask staff at a checkout desk.

 


Paging/delivery of UO books to Faculty Campus Departments

UO Faculty may request that books from the general collections of the Libraries be delivered to their Eugene campus departments. These materials will be checked out by library staff and delivered to the campus address listed in their library account. Please see: Delivery to Campus Departments.



 


Requesting items from other libraries:

Interlibrary Loans (ILL): Materials not found in the UO or Summit catalogs may be requested through ILL and picked up at any UO Library. More>>

Summit: (UO students, faculty, and staff) Materials not owned by the UO Libraries may be available through Summit and may be picked up at any library in the Orbis Cascade Alliance consortium (or any UO Library).


 


Accessing electronic resources from off campus

The UO Libraries provide access to a wide array of databases, electronic journals, and other electronic resources for the campus community. More>>



 

Requesting Electronic Document Delivery of print items owned by the UO Libraries

All UO faculty, and UO students and staff located more than 30 miles from Eugene, may request online delivery of articles and book chapters. More>>


 

Mailing UO materials to homes

Books that are available in the UO catalog may be delivered via US mail to UO distance education student and faculty homes. More>>.

Distance education faculty may request that items from the Video Collection which are needed for remote classroom use be mailed to their homes. More>>
