Selecting Materials

The Library selects materials and provides access to information resources in support of the Libraries' mission and strategic directions.

Collection development goals and initiatives are linked to the instructional programs and research interests of UO schools, departments, and programs. Acquisitions works closely with the Libraries' subject specialists to develop and build the UO Libraries collections. Library users may request that Acquisitions purchase materials which the library does not own by completing the appropriate online form:
