A History, Bibliography, and Research Guide


This resource surveys the history of the built environment of the University of Oregon and identifies basic resources for researching the architectural heritage of Oregon's flagship university.

This guide has six sections:

Annotated chronology, organized by decades, that describes UO's building history
Descriptive and resource information about campus buildings and landscape
Information about the architects, artists, builders, and other contributors to UO's architecture
Information (text and image) about the outdoor sculpture, architectural decoration, and memorial plaques that embellish the campus
A guide to research resources useful for further exploration.
