Knight Library will be open around the clock on weekdays during the 2009-2010 school year, thanks to financial support from the Associated Students of the University of Oregon (ASUO).
Next year, pending final approval by university administration, the library will be open around the clock Sunday through Friday beginning the third week of each academic term and continuing through finals week. This represents a slight change from 24-hour service during the 2008-2009 academic year, which included the first two weeks of the term. The change was made because data collected this year suggested that few students used the 24-hour service during the first two weeks of school.
