UO Community Has On-Site Borrowing Privileges at GWLA Libraries

gwla reciprocal borrowingIf you’re a member of the UO community, you now have on-site borrowing privileges when you visit many of the member libraries in the Greater Western Library Alliance (GWLA), a consortium of 32 academic libraries located across 17 midwestern and western states. The GWILA libraries participating in the reciprocal borrowing program are listed here.

To borrow materials from a participating GWLA library, you will need to present your University of Oregon photo ID. You may also be asked to log into your library record or your UO account to confirm your status.

Three GWLA libraries—Oregon State University, University of Washington, and Washington State University—also offer UO students, faculty, and staff on-site borrowing privileges through a reciprocal borrowing program sponsored by the Orbis Cascade library consortium. Members of the UO community should use their Orbis Cascade on-site borrowing privileges at these locations since they offer higher levels of borrowing privileges.
