An exhibit offering a look into the world of art and culture as represented in ballet, theater, literature, and cinema in Russia and Eastern Europe is on display in the entryway corridors to Knight Library. A free public screening of the 16mm film version of the animated short Flashpoint (National Film Board of Canada, 1977) and Orson Welles’ noir classic Touch of Evil (1958) will be held on May 18 at 7 p.m. in 180 PLC. A talk entitled "Transgender: Education, Allyship, and Celebration" will be held in Knight Library's Browsing Room at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8. Valyn Faer, a student assistant in the library's Lending Services unit, will offer her perspectives on the topic. The event is free; everyone is invited to attend.
