Schedule A Room

Knight Library, Center for Media & Educational Technologies (CMET), and Science Library have a variety of rooms which can be reserved by students and faculty for study, research, and instruction. Our rooms are scheduled in the campus 25Live system.

Log into 25Live to start scheduling. NOTE: The Browsing Room and CMET's Studio A and Rm. 56 are not reservable via 25live. Call 346-3056 for Browsing Room and 346-1943 for Studio A and Rm. 56.

NOTE: Prior to submitting a request, please review the room's policy and availability to ensure the room will meet your needs.



GROUP STUDY ROOMS

A space open to groups of 2 or more students for course related purposes only. There is a two hour maximum time limit for reservations.

**Requests must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance; weekend requests need to be submitted by 3:00 p.m. on Friday of that week. Requests are not processed during intersessions.**

Electronic classrooms are to be used for instruction and training that requires participants to have access to individual computer workstations.

SPECIAL PURPOSE ROOMS

Individual Studies
22 unlocked rooms on the third floor of the Knight Library. These rooms are part of the library's quiet zone and are available for individuals seeking small rooms on a first come, first served basis.

Faculty Studies| Applications are available in Rm. 115, Library Administration.

Graduate Studies | 22 rooms available for 44 students, see Knight Checkout/Information Desk

Browsing Room - Rm. 106. Room capacity: 140 row seating; 75 at round tables. This room is available for use by University and other community groups for lectures, conferences, and receptions during the hours the library is open to the public. Collaboration Center - Rm. 122; seats 30. The Collaboration Center is a flexible, conveniently located space where UO instructors, academic support providers, and student services professionals can meet with students one-on-one or in groups.

Studio A - lower level, CMET, seats 35. Studio A is a unique classroom used primarily for originating and receiving teleconferences, telecourses and videoconferences. To schedule this room please contact Lynette Boone at lboone@uoregon.edu or 541-346-1943.

Room 56 - lower level, CMET; seats up to 3.
Rm. 56 is a small Tandberg videoconferencing room. Faculty teaching a distance education class with all students off-campus, or faculty conducting office hours with distance students are examples of appropriate uses. To schedule this room please contact Lynette Boone at lboone@uoregon.edu or 541-346-1943.

Cinema Studies Lab - Room 267
This classroom is used for academic instruction 8:00am - 2:00pm, Monday through Friday. Priority scheduling is reserved for Cinema Studies classes. First time users of this room must schedule a training session with the Lab Supervisor. For scheduling contact Dr. Andre Sirois, Multimedia Specialist/Lab Supervisor at cinemastudiessuper@gmail.com or 541-346-8104. The lab is open to UO students, faculty, and staff from 2:00pm until midnight Sunday through Thursday, and noon until 7:00pm Friday and Saturday.
