- Georgia GIS Data Clearinghouse - The purpose of the Clearinghouse is to collect, document, format, and publish GIS information collected by multiple agencies of Georgia state government.
- Statewide GIS Atlas - Includes GIF and digital data files.

- Kentucky Geological Survey - The Kentucky Geological Survey has some electronic maps (GIS coverages) and DOQs that are available by FTP downloading. The files are ArcView shapefiles (registered by ESRI). The files were zipped using the WinZip utility. All the datasets, unless explicitly noted, are in latitude and longitude, decimal degrees, NAD83.
- Kentucky Office of GIS - State GIS server with downloadable DRGs, DEMs and other thematic information.

- Atlas: Louisiana Statewide GIS - Users can display and download a variety of data types and formats. However, the server is not very reliable and is often down for long periods of time.
- Louisiana Geographic Information Center - LAGIC was established by the Louisiana GIS Council (LGISC) and the Louisiana Database Commission(LDBC) to facilitate the distribution of geographic information, provide technical assistance, and support GIS data development among state, federal, and local government

- Michigan Geographic Data Library -
The Michigan Geographic Data Library (MGDL) focuses primarily on
Michigan data and is the State's geographic data provider website; it
houses and serves data for the State of Michigan, the Great Lakes
region (includes other adjacent states). Data originally accessed
through the state Department of Natural Resources & Environment
(MDNRE) is now served through the MGDL, managed by the Michigan
Department of Information Technology (MDIT). The MDNRE still serves a wide variety
of aerial photography (www.michigan.gov/dnr
then select "Publications, ..." then the "Aerial
Imagery" offerings), along with the Michigan Aerial Imagery Archives
at Michigan State University.

- Minnesota Land Management Information Center - Summarized statistical data available in 20 different databases. Boundary files and DOQs.
- Minnesota Legislative GIS Office - Links to Minnesota information only.
- ForNet - Program developed by Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and NASA, this innovative site provides a means for viewing various statewide data sets for Minnesota. This site also provides an interactive map browser that allows one to view data from the DNR Forestry database.

- EPA Region 8 GIS Data
- GIS data sets - A huge array of administrative districts, land boundaries, educational, park, electoral divisions, mines, landfills, energy sites, and water stations.
- Montana Natural Resource Information System - From the Montana State Library. Provides access to GIFS, ARC/INFO export files, and documentation for numerous thematic coverages. Spatial freeWAIS search engine allows user to conduct queries for spatial data sets using keyword and coordinate inputs.

- North Dakota State GIS Center - Portal to North Dakota geospatial data and information; collaborative effort by North Dakota state agencies, local government,
