The Science Library (extension 6-3075), located in the basement of Onyx Bridge Hall, houses most of the UO Libraries' print monographs and journals related to the sciences of biology, chemistry, physics, computer science, and environmental studies. We have science-specialist reference librarians available during weekday hours, and borrowing and information staff available all hours the library is open.
The Science Library has two internet-only workstations available to the general public for searching the library catalog and performing other internet searched. There are also several workstations available only to UO students, staff, and faculty. These workstations have additional software and hardware.
Staff from the Science Library also maintain the Mathematics Library.
If you are a UO borrower and wish to obtain materials from the Science Library, but wish to pick them up at another branch (or vice-versa), you may do so by placing a hold and selecting a pickup location in the Libraries' catalog.
