Blackboard Advisory Group

The UO Blackboard system is managed as part of the Library's department of Scholarly Communications and Instructional Support. Project manager is JQ Johnson. Most of the day to day system management and decision making is done by Tim Boshart, the UO Blackboard Coordinator. JQ and Tim consult regularly with the Blackboard Advisory Group, a committee of faculty who meet quarterly and have agreed to provide input and advice (and sometimes very strong recommendations) about both day to day operations and longer term policies.

We generally produce a status report for the committee in preparation for each quarterly meeting. These status reports are perhaps the best summary of history, status, recent changes, and current issues that are available on line.
